Default Service manual for Long Shifters?

Does anyone have disassembly or repair instructions for a Long HN-1000 shifter? It's on a Richmond 5 Speed Street transmission (1:1 5th gear, no OD).

My shifter assembly has 2 socket head cap screws on each side of the bar slightly below where the shift lever attaches. The 2 screws on one side are tight, while the 2 screws on the other side are loose - they appear to be threaded out nearly all the way. They're inside a square collar that surrounds the lever, preventing me from getting to them unless I disassemble the shift assembly, probably starting with the countersunk flat socket head screws. I'll take this on without instructions if necessary, but it would be nice to have some idea if springs or small parts are going to fly out.
