You'll note they're comparing their Melonized gears to to universal and bronze gear options - not to iron and steel options. If Comp Cams believed Melonized gears were better than iron on iron and steel on steel, don't you think they'd make that clear? I believe they know full well Melonized is NOT better than properly matching iron gears to iron camshafts, and steel gears to steel camshafts.
Accept or reject expert opinion from engine builders like Brent but, as always, "your mileage may vary" (literally and figuratively).
