If as I suspect it is an estate sale it doesn't surprise me at all. There have been a few estate cars that sold for almost scrap value. A few years ago a Ford GT went for significantly under market, representative said it was an estate car and he was just there "to get rid of it". As always due diligence and a PPI are encouraged, but this could be a pretty good deal for someone.
