I went through pretty much the same thing selling my unfinished Contemporary. Guys who were "on their way" only to have some major life altering catastrophe the day they were supposed to be here. Guys who "I want it. I'm a serious buyer" who strung it out for weeks. "i will take it, I'll be there this weekend" (local guy) just to have a whole litany of excuses to postpone, then to try and low-ball at about 1/2 price. All these clowns wear you down to the point of screw it I'll keep it. When I did sell it , it was to a serious buyer at a price I wasn't happy with but then atleast I didn't have to deal with all the tire kicking mouth flappers that were "serious buyers".
