My 2014 Backdraft came with electric steering that was installed by the previous owner who was a machinist. It was an under the dash unit and he did a great job putting it in. Although it made the wheel very easy to turn, I didn't care for the way it felt and removed it. I went to an upgraded manual column and connectors while keeping my original rack. I love the way it feels. Easy to turn and very responsive. Feels like a sports car now. Just didn't have that good feel with the electric steering. Felt like a Lincoln Continental. Much better now.
