[Grubby]

I am planning my ERA 427 build. The turkey pans look great and period, but I know the air filters are pretty small.

I am thinking of using a 9" filter instead of the 8 1/2 original. Then assuming the filter sticks up into the cut out for the hood scoop; how tall will fit?

When the car is assembled, I can measure it and know the answer. A 9" x 3" tall filter would only cost 11 HP per the online calculators and looks like it might fit.
