Thanks guys. I have probably complicated it by suggesting I was looking for steel angle 1/8" thick.

It could be a formed sheet steel angle 14ga or 16ga. Thinner than 1/8".

But a lot more web searching hasn't yielded anything so I may have to contact my local sheet metal shop.
