Thanks so much for your answers.
I completely "brained" it on the bug thing. I rode motorcycles for many years and just plain forgot about the bugs. That's exactly why I wore a leather jacket. Those big white bugs at higher altitude can really be a pain in the a$$!
I am sure that's what must have happened to Zderf's winshield. Just too dam many white bugs to dodge at one time!
Still in my crying state....
