Well I just receive both sets in the mail the other day and I have to say that the KG5529s are MUCH harder to compress by hand than the 343144s. In fact, after playing around with the 5529s, the Excel-Gs felt like mush.

Will be interesting to compare to the Gabriels once I pull them off the car.
