Bypassing the
oil cooler or using an
oil thermostat would be a good idea. I wouldn't worry about bypassing the trans cooler if it's built into the radiator - in fact, it'll help heat the fluid up to working temperature.
If you are using a rear-mounted battery, use 0 gage or heavier, and the block heater might be a good idea if you're not using a heavy duty starter.
Wear a hat and gloves - but you probably already knew that.
