When you're posting or replying, there's an icon that looks like a paper clip (see pic below)...hit that and you get a window that says "Manage Attachments".
Click on "choose a file" and select a file from your computer (can select several), and then click "upload".
Note: should point out that each file
needs to be bigger than 100KB, even though the "Attachment Key" quotes file sizes at lower than that. I aim for 200 KB to 300KB for each file.
When the file or files have been successfully uploaded (it's not immediate, takes a few seconds), they will show as "Current Attachments"; you can then close that window (where it says "Close this window", at top right hand corner).
Then hit "Preview Post" to check what it looks like, do some further editing if you need to, and hit "Submit Reply"
It's a bit messy, but it should work. There are other ways as well.
