Depends on what the problem is. If you have a cable clutch mechanism, my first thought would be to lube the cable well. On my FFR, I lubed it every year, and you could tell the difference.

What pressure plate is in there now? Is it a heavy duty racing clutch? Or a stock replacement?

Then I would look at the clutch quadrant. Some people install a short throw racing quadrant, which decreases the clutch pedal throw. The downside is that it increases pedal effort.

If all that looks good, I'd install this from Mike Forte. Only take about an hour to install with a couple of wrenches. No need to remove the clutch.
