Hi ,
Question to Bob . For the ERA FIA car, I plan to use a wide ratio 24” long ford top loader, what tail shaft side shifter position is correct ? I have access to all 3 shifter positions tail housings ? The era manual shows a bracket mounted on what I believe is the mid position, so is that bracket to make a mid position into a forward position? If so, can I just use a forward position tail housing and not worry ?
I’d like to prepare the transmission before the car arrives.
