You could also consider going to plug on coil or the 4 coil bank with each coil feeding two plugs. You would have to dig into the details on that. You could basically saw the top of the distributor off and just use it to turn the
oil pump, but it would make more sense to me to use it for engine position instead of having to add a crank trigger and cam position sensor.
