In Switzerland it is 30 years.
BUT it is 30 years from
the first (street legal) registration of the car and not of the age of the engine or washer bottle.
e.g a title with 1965 is useless on a CSX 4000.
About the registration in France. This is nice, but as Switzerland is not France they challenge this registration on a first place.
And don't forget. The guys on the DMV have as well internet and google.
Therefore you need to have 120% evidence to put on their desk prior to get any OK
