I'm finishing my build and my kit was from 1996 and had Federal or Doan 2222 and 2223 motor mounts but my friend building the same kit but older his uses TRW 8 2240 / TRW 8 2241.
I have an Edelbrock intake and I have to use a .3" 428 CJ carb spacer to have adequate clearance for the turkey pan to bottom of hood and air cleaner to bottom of hood scoop. I don't know if there are other thiner mounts but you could shorted the two motor mount support post if you want to run a 1" thick carb spacer. I also drilled and bolted the driver side motor mount like ERA shows on their site.
