Although it might seem crazy the car also came with an original over the counter ford Cobra dual quad intake. It had 2 carter 500's on it but I went back to a single 4 barrel and sold the carbs. I will be selling the intake as I still have it. I am not sure what the block is. I am starting to wonder if he pulled an entire motor from and early car? I will be pulling the block is there anyway to tell if its anything special?
Was there a linkage with the carburetors? Do you happen to have a photo that showed it?
