It should be fairly easy to figure out where the issue lies. if its the body being off or the rear end being off. Measure from a point on the rear suspension like the brake rotor to the chassis on both sides, it should be the same. I also assume you tried swapping the wheels to confirm it is not an offset issue. I am not familiar to the backdraft rear end. but you should be able to figure it out in a few min with a tape measure, measure the brake rotor to the chassis on both sides.
