Thanks for the info. This will be on my list for the weekend. I dont think it is the cable and think it is the actual popper as I can only hear the relay click and not the popper.

Will hopefully be able to pull the door cover off with the door closed and see what I can do. I wouldn't be opposed to a manual release either. Hopefully with the cover off I can see the internals and get a new popper and put some kind of manual release in there.
