Thumbs up Have you considered Imiron paint?

It's virtually chip and rust proof, highly abrasion resistant, and much less expensive than powder coating. In addition, you can likely find a local painter to spray it for you. It's highly toxic while being sprayed, so don't try it yourself.
You can see what it looks like on the red Imiron painted frame in my photo gallery.

Powder coat gets chips and it seems that there are few that do it well, from what I hear.
