The LS/Miata package can be very effective.

From what I understand, you would want a 77 or later, since the firewall is already for the Rover engine, and the motor mounts are better. Then lower the car, and put chrome bumpers on, and you have a great car. Oh, the Rover V8 weighs roughly 40 lbs less then the iron MG 4!
