He said to start with replacing the air correctors from #120 that’s in there now with #190-200. Replace the main jet in the emulsion tubes (?) with a #145. Start the car allowing it to warm up. Then adjust the idle mix screws. Base line is 1-1/2 turns out. Ok I can do that.

Adjust the idle speed screws 1/2 turn in from touching the the linkage. Ok, I can do that too.

He‘s located in Arizona. I wish I had my trailer. I would just take it to him to do.

I‘m sure I’ll screw it all up, get frustrated and just cover it up.
Bill,

The emulsion tubes are the long tubes that you unscrew out of the carbs. The main jets are at the bottom of those tubes and are just hand pressed on to the tubes. You should see a number etched into the main jets. For curiosity sake, unscrew one and let us know what number is on the main jet.

I have some smaller jets in the 150-155 range that I bought that I will never use. If the 145's turn out to be too small, I will give you a real good deal on the next size up, if you need them.

I wish that I was closer Bill.
