Small light cars don't like heavy breaking when cornering. When we raced dirt winged sprint cars a pit member asked me for years to let him drive it in warm ups. I always turned him down unless he handed me 10k in cash, well, after all of those downs for so many years, he handed me a check,...for 10k. lol

I told him to remember what I always said, if you are headed for the wall, don't hit the brake, hit the throttle or you'll hit the wall at 90mph, guess what happened ? For 4 laps he drove it well, and said he knew not to hit the brake when he got tight, but did it anyway.

He was fine and it actually cost him only 7k. 😋 He told me it was the best 7k he ever spent. 🤣
