The reverse rotation, supposedly, does improve the cooling effectiveness of the system on the 5.0 & 5.8.

I do have my 67 Mustang set up using the March pulley system (Alt & PS Pump), It uses the upper turn buckle as a tensioner w/o an idler pulley. But lately I have noticed a bit of groaning from the PS Pump and I am wondering it is too much tension on the pump causing a premature failure.

Right now, I am looking for an accessory system that will either lower the alt on the passenger side to make clearance for the MAF meter or relocate it to the driver's side. I do not have PS on my CR.
