Sadly, reviewing the proposed bills for 2023, there’s already someone who wants to defer the implementation of the MSRP change:

So the change to MSRP has been approved and they just want to delay it? At least it's approved, but the one year delay will give them a chance to retrench and reverse it since there's been no benefit the "something once given can never be taken away" rule cannot be applied.
