You're right about E-M's body - They absolutely did use a Contemporary-based body shape; but they had backward tilted radiators, very prominent cowl hoop in the cockpit area and big, flat, prominent triangulated hood-pin areas at the trailing corners of the engine bay opening.
On closer inspection though, you might be onto something with Midstates. Other than the Jag IRS which I think would be rare (but possible) on a Midstates, there's a lot of similarities. The only differences I can readily see are the trunk floor, front suspension lower arms, rear fender lip and the depth of the inner lip around the engine bay opening. The underside of the hood and hood hinges are identical. So far I think Midstates is the closest but still some differences.
