The one thing I noticed that was the owner changed out the mounting brackets on the Flaming River rack with milled blocks of aluminum. I can't tell whether there's a rubber or poly bushing between it and the rack. I have the identical ERA customized rack on mine and had trouble with the original rubber bushings tearing. I bet he had the same problem. I finally was able to find a poly bushing that holds up but I'd be curious as to whether his fix created any noticeable feel on the wheel.
