That sounds like a lot of trouble to go to when you can just unbolt the seat, slide it to where you think it might be better position, carefully try it out and then just drill new holes.
I have my driver's side seat mounted on a seat slider, and when it's all secured (slider to floor and seat to slider), the seat won't then slide.
I should add that I was very conscious of the need for accurate mounting of both the seat and the slider.... but even still -
he no slide
