Default 7.3 Godzilla or 8 Stack 427FI
About to engage in a Backdraft adventure and am going to install my own engine/trans, but I'm at a crossroads. 7.3 Godzilla Stage 1 w/cam swap, or 8 Stack 427 FI? Backdraft will have a blacked out look with modern feel, which is why I like the Godzilla. Color matching valve covers and satin black intake looks sweet, but I can also make the 8 stack look modernized as well.

My Factory Five Cobra had a Blueprint carb'd 427, which I loved. The Quickfuel carb started up like FI and the cam was very aggressive with wild lope. That said, I'm going to move on from the gas fumes and go the FI route this time, but would like to get somewhat of the same sound/feel.

Thoughts?
