I found a place, SK transmission in Lindenhurst, that told me they have the parts but I would have to bring him the old bushing and front seal to match what he has. The Richmond transmission do have interchangable parts with GM's muncie transmissions and the 350/400 transmissions.

I had it rebuilt locally (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada). That rebuild included welding and machining the case to deal with a bearing support that had somehow become enlarged, allowing the countershaft (IIRC) to move around.
