First of all, thanks to all that replied to my initial post regarding the broken Circlip in my FE
oil pan. I was finally able to borescope the cylinders and unfortunately number 1 cylinder confirmed my concern. The cylinder wall is scored and the motor needs to be removed, rebuilt or replaced.
