PS: You might want to check the bidding history of the two high bidders (yes, winner included) and how frequently they bid on the sellers items, in a W-I-D-E variety of items he sells. May be a coincidence, may not be, just an observation and nothing else.
Thanks for the advice; it has some very interesting implications. I have virtually no experience in evaluating bidding history patterns, but I do have a lot of experience assessing the value of various assets. And, in that experience, the high bidder wins as far as I can recall!

In my obviously biased opinion, ERA2131 is hands-down the best FIA ERA has ever built. I don't think you'll get much of an argument from the diplomatic but reliably honest Peter P. And you can buy it now without having to wait two years and source all the vintage and NOS components that I have included in the car. Another consideration is the fact that placing an order today doesn't guarantee it is ever completed, God forbid...

I already posted the link to the high water mark auction results of ERA2066 of $133k and the car that it purchased. Here it is again:

I think mine is as good or better on every point, unless you're stuck on the Viking Blue (originally known as Princess Alice blue, FYI), I've an ad here and will post another one or two elsewhere. If after a few weeks it doesn't sell, I'll must likely run a BAT auction. However, IMO, anyone who seriously wants a car this sorted should get up to ERA now and kick the tires.

Cheers,

Jeff
