I suspect the continuing poor website login and posting performance has discouraged many from participating, Blas.

It took five minutes for me to login and get to this posting. Most guys don't have the time to waste, especially when the website forum can take an indeterminate length of time usually longer than five minutes. Last evening I quit waiting an went out with the wife. Three hours later when I returned my screen said the server had timed out ?!?!.

After a while, this kind of performance can discourage just about anyone.

More fuel to the fire:

This post went into never, never, land when I clicked Submit. These days I build the post in Word and past it into a Message Window on the site so when it crashes I can start over and past from my word doc into the website's Message window and try again.

Rather than a posting you recieve a message stating,

"... can't open the page "www.clubcobra.com/forums/newreply.php?
do=postreply&t=147538" because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again. "

The sever is not busy! The site software is out of date, and damaged/broken yet again!

When the post finally was accepted by the CC site software nearly 90 minutes had passed!!
