I live in Westminster in Orange county, CA. I spent the last year+ building an ERA FIA Cobra. I followed the Specially Constructed Vehicle guidance from the CA DMV [url="https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicle-registration/new-registration/register-a-specially-constructed-or-modified-vehicle/"]https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicle-registration/new-registration/register-a-specially-constructed-or-modified-vehicle/]
I got a VIN (they gave me ERA2166, my chassis number).

Now I am trying to get the Brake and Light Adjusment Certificate. The place I went to in Santa Ana, Auto Best, is very discouraging; telling me all the little reasons I won't pass. Basically, he wants me to go elsewhere.

Can anyone advise a shop that will do it in the LA basin / Orange county (hell, even San Diego county)? Thanks, Doug Stewart
