I drilled a pilot hole with a very small drill bit eyeballed at 45 degrees first. If you're unsure what 45 degrees looks like, you get a polycast protractor and hold it on top the drill when you're drilling the pilot hole. Then I used a hole saw in reverse to drill the right size hole. As long as your close it will be fine. The most important thing is to make sure the cable going to the motor and the wipers are as straight as possible. Any little bind will kink the cable and the wiper won't work. I personally did not care for the wiper kit.
