The other thing I forgot to mention is the button on the dash is the switch for the wiper washer pump.
I guess you could use that for the horn and something else for the washer pump and have a high beam flash option, the original cars never had it but if you want that , do it. It's your car after all
I am trying t keep mine looking period correct too but there are also a couple of options I am quietly adding such as 4 way flashers
They were never in an original 289 but I do kind of like them for potential safety reasons.
I have a couple of other "mod-con" wants but we will see if I can hide them enough to keep the look I want.
