Remember in class, smooth seems slow, yet smooth is fast.


As a retired 30+ year racer (road race, some autocross), and sometimes right seat instructor, I'll post the following as if I was in the car with the "student" doing an after session decompress with the lead instructor (short description):




The driver was all over, very little to almost no self awareness or control. Easily distracted, hand eye coordination was lagging, lack of situational awareness of the course layout. I review the video, the less likely I would have allowed this driver on a road course without further experience and/or hands on instruction in a controlled environment.
