I have a Backdraft RT4 built in 2022 with an aluminum tank and autometer gauges. My fuel gauge was all over the place and never that accurate. I installed the Holley Easy Level sender but couldn't get it to work. It would read the fuel level then drop to empty. Tech support at Holley said it was because I had a "shiny"gas tank and the reflection was causing the issue. They suggested painting the inside of the fuel tank... not!
I ended up replacing the OEM sender with a KUS151324 6 inch stainless steel reed sender, for around $40 bucks, and it works fantastic. The install was simple and now I have accurate fuel readings on my gauge.
