I hate to do it but I'm the Forum Debbie Downer on these kinds of projects.

Are you an experienced machinist and builder? You're going to need lots of tools, a good number of which you will only use once, and a lift will prove most beneficial. Be sure to factor this into your cost.

If you aren't, then I'd suggest that there are lots of easier and much less frustrating scratch build projects that would get your feet wet. The cobra has no straight lines and that is a big obstacle to those not experienced with metalforming.

Keep us posted on your progress and your requests for the pieces you are missing as some of the people are packrats and may have some of the missing parts. You have somewhere around 15% of what you need to build a Cobra. There's lots of blanks to fill in.

Be careful though. By the time you acquire many of these parts and invest the time in assembling those things you need to manufacture, the money spent would be the same or more than just buying a finished Cobra. if you're in it to bust knuckles and the cobra is a side effect then by all means go for it but understand this is a non-trivial project that will probably take you a couple of years.

Note also, since you're new to this forum, that most of the advertisers on this forum no longer exist... There is a lot of attrition in the Cobra space...

If you can overcome all of these supply and experience issues then please keep us posted on your progress! Good luck!

Note also that this forum is gone more than not so connecting with the knowledge base is becoming more and more difficult. There is another place that might; try talkcobra.com
