Besides restarting a thread that has not been posted on in two years, and as the retired bodyshop owner still here, the reason why you find different color codes has to do with changes in the formula as well as changes to the supplier of the paint products.


As an example of Sapphire Blue
PPG/Ditzler Code: 13075
With this, you can go to your Sherwin Williams, Dupont, or ?? automotive paint supply store and they can then mix it using the product line of your choice.


Finally, do not expect paint spray out to match what you see on your computer screen, you must look at what you want up close and in person to get a real world, unmodified, unretouched, view of the actual color.
