I think an all aluminium 427 FE is ideal in every department. Nothing seems to phase it, its hardly ever working hard, I have barely any
oil leaks and the car handles neutrally.
But worse, who thinks about building a project and what it might mean when they sell it? A 427 FE propelled AC Mk IV was my dream. It was also for me massive 16 month long, cant ever go back, transformation of the factory 302/T5 car, which included making the engine bay 3" wider. But with the TKO 600 .82, it's every bit a good as I dared hope and eleven years on, I don't feel I will ever want to sell it.
