Thanks Pat- it is a 1050 from Pro Systems in Michigan, cost me about 12 hundred as I recall. I also have a little Braswell 850 that is a great little DP and about the smoothest carb for performance I have ever owned and it was almost as expensive as the dominator. Don't know about the height of the RPM manifold as I have never run one, so have no comparison vis-a-vis a Victor. I am going to try to put the Victor on in the next few days and will measure it for you. I can tell you that the Victor is not angle cut on the carb mounting pad, and I think mine was 6.49 inches tall from the front intake mounting surface of the block to the carb mounting pad of the intake. I don't know if I have explained it suffficiently for you, but if not, I can measure it anyway you want, just let me know. By, the way your car sounded pretty good on the cleaning off the tires tape.
