I got that price directly from Joe Schubeck. I talked to him at the end of last year about his lifters for one of my customer's big block ford projects. At that time, everything was on a custom order basis. As you can see from the site you posted, it says "coming soon" None of that stuff is available yet. Hopefully it won't be "coming soon" like the Genesis 427 block, or the Dove aluminum heads, or... well you get the picture. Also I apologize, I went through my notes and that $3000.00 price was for a cam and lifters. Also note, the lifters are 1" diameter. Plan on spending aprox. $300 (maybe more) to have your lifter bores enlarged. By looking at the photos in the PHR article, it looks like he changed the design of the lifters and reduces the amount of material needed, thus lowering the prices. I hope he makes a set for the FE, I really like the design and the reduced maintenance.
