The cam was to be manufactured and ground by Comp Cams w/ Schubecks prosess along the way $375. The solid radius compositeLifters were $820. The drilling fixture, brackets, studs, taps,drill, shipping made it $1320. I'd still have to buy pushrods.Replacing shell lifters w/ these lifters wouln't have the weight savings as that of conventional lifters due to the hollow construction of the shell lifters . I was given some information by a machinist in the shop where my engine is being done that made me just save my money and go back w/a Regular Comp cam and shell lifters.
