My 2 cents.... I now have 4000 miles on my 514. It's seen 7000 rpm's numerious times. I ajusted the valves once at about 50 miles and will do it again at 5000, but there is no excessive tappet noise yet.. Too, these roller tappets are the best of high tech. Not going to wear out any time soon....
