Hi Morry Go and Look at the ERA's cobras. Do not worry about what the little building look like, look at the cars and the qualitity of workmanship on them. Only 1or 2 other companys have a full time engineer at the company, Bob is one of the best. I am a ERA owner. With the right gearing and trans, any 302 or 351 will sound and run great. Mod motors are great works of enginerring but do not look good in a cobra. If you want a larger motor in the car, go with a 427 SOHC motor with a Shelby block to keep the wieght down, only kidding I think you will change your mine about the motor after you see the FIA with a windsor motor in it.Good Luck with your car.
