I had the car out today (the rain has finally stopped!) to try out my handiwork with the Pro 5.0. I must admit, my expectations have been met.
When I did this swap on my 2000 Mustang GT, the difference was night and day (T45 5-speed trans), so I had an idea of what to expect. On the TKO, the stock shifter base was ok, but not great. There was a little slop in it, and the shifting was not crisp. After the install, the slop is gone and the shifts are solid. I banged through the gears a bit this am, up to about 90 or so. While I wouldn't call the difference "night and day" like the Mustang, it's a meaningful improvement.
Was it worth the money and time (about 4 hours) to do it? I'd say yes.

I think I'll go out and put some more miles on #1230 tomorrow morning, if it doesn't rain!
