Mike,
I changed my mufflers this spring. I went to Arizona Exhaust and got glass packs. They are a perfect fit/replacement for the bullet part of the side pipes. They are 4"OD and 3"ID. Just a great sound with little restriction. Under 2000 rpm though, the dbs can really hurt the ears. A lot of deep vibration. Other than that it should be the ticket for you. But, you may want to go with a 2" or 2 1/2" ID.

I cut the bullet out of my Side pipes and had these made so that the muffler nipples would fit inside the existing pipes. After welding, you can not tell any difference in appearance.

You can search this site for "Arizona Exhaust" or "Lucient" to get the phone number to call. I do not have the info with me. Lucient is the owner of the business and great to work with.

Hope this helps.

Maury
