Tim,
Your right about the handle , it is the short version. The bezel screws are seperate from those on the brackets. I used 3/4' long stainless sheetmetal screws for the bezel which is why you can see them in the picture, they are just long enough to go through the carpet and tunnel and only come through the bottom about an 1/8". For the brackets I used 3/8" machine screws and counter sunk into the tunnel for a flush install. You can probably get away without countersinking and use a round head screw or a hex bolt, the carpet and the location will hide the head.
