Well Race Fans,
3 WEEKS AWAY!!!!!!
Its already time again. Yup, the Crankoids will be back at New York State's
"Thunder Road", Watkins Glen, for a three day driving/drinking/eating/comedic extravaganza!!!
For many, it will be the last driving event for the season. This one is usually the best for Our Gang.
We expect the normal shenanigans.....
- I think Mr. Bruce will be bringing his famous Castrol GTX marinated ribses.
I also hope Bruce brings one of his toys along...a Cheetah??? maybe a Daytona???
- We 'hope' to have the twin turbo CSX7000 make its debut at this event. It is currently being finished up.
- Bill Connelly will also be back with his Upstate Super Replicars Daytona Coupe for some more 'testing & tuning'.
- Peter Baselice is a possibility with his '66 GT350, if he doesn't break it in the Volvo Classic race series. Anyway, HE will be coming with the Johnny Walker Blue regardless.
- Additional Crankoids will be crawling out of the sewers and drainpipes to congregate around the Seneca Lodge's 110 Octane bonfire (The Pire of McFire) as usual.
October 4-6 at Watkins Glen, we'll be running with PDA (Performance Drivers Association). To sign up (and you better do it now if you have not!) go to their website at:
